A letter from us

Dear friend,

There is a lot of talk about what artificial intelligence will take from us. We would rather talk about what it can give back.

We think the best technology gives people time. Time for the evening hours, when the work is done and the day becomes yours again. Time to make something just because it delights you, to share it with someone you love, to play.

AI should not replace the person behind the idea. It should clear the path between a spark and the thing you wanted to make, so more of your energy goes into imagining and less into wrestling with tools.

That is why we are building Evening. We are a small team in Seattle making AI software for creating short videos, simple enough to pick up on a quiet night and good enough to be proud of what comes out.

We are just getting started, and we would love to hear from you along the way.
